Prayer Garden

Our Laudato Si’ Team have played a key role in helping to create and care for our beautiful Prayer Garden, a peaceful space where our school community can pray, reflect, and connect with God’s creation. The children designed their own prayer pebbles—each decorated with symbols of hope, faith, and stewardship—and placed them throughout the garden to make it a welcoming and meaningful place for all. They also take part in weekly planting and gardening, nurturing flowers, herbs, and wildlife-friendly plants that help the garden flourish and support biodiversity.

In the summer term, the team led a special Celebration of the Word focused on caring for the environment, guiding the school in prayer and reflection on our responsibility to protect our common home. Through their creativity, leadership, and ongoing commitment, the Laudato Si’ Team live out the message of Laudato Si’ and Catholic Social Teaching, showing how caring for creation is an act of love, faith, and hope.
