At Holy Cross and All Saints, we use a set of school prayers that help to anchor our community in faith each day. These include our School Prayer, Morning Prayer, Grace before and after meals, and our Home-time Prayer (found below). Alongside these familiar daily prayers, children also learn the traditional prayers of the Church listed below.

As outlined in our policy, “learning these prayers includes teaching children the meaning, as well as how to pray them,” ensuring pupils grow in understanding as well as practice. In Key Stage Two, every child has their own class prayer book, which they can use to support their personal and shared prayer throughout the school day.
