All classes in our EYFS and KS1 departments have their own special Prayer Bears. These Prayer Bears are used in class throughout the week when the children gather for prayer and worship. Each Friday, the class' Star of the Week takes the Prayer Bear home with a special prayer and prayer journal. In KS1, each child has their own individual prayer journal which includes our school prayers, Mission Statement and other key reflections. Throughout their time in KS2, the children use their journals to record personal prayers, class prayers, reflections and prayers for special intentions, creating a meaningful record of their spiritual journey. These books are extremely special, and when the children leave Year 6, they take them home as a lasting keepsake to remember their time at primary school and the important way faith has shaped their journey here.
