Welcome

Year 6

Pentecost themed day 18th May 2018

We ended our topic on the Victorians by completing a D/T challenge .In groups we had to design and make a model of a Victorian room. To link to our science work on electrical circuits we also had to have a working circuit in the room. Here are our amazing creations. Great work Year 6!

Welcome to Year 6!

Welcome to Year 6, the final chapter of primary school. A year of exciting opportunities, rewarding experiences and challenge! This is your year to shine.

As well as reaching our potential academically, there will be plenty of opportunities to participate in key roles and responsibilities within the school that will equip you for your transition to secondary school.

In Year 6 you will be expected to work hard but in return, you will be rewarded with many happy memories, lasting friendships, and an increased confidence to take you onto your next adventure.

This year in year 6 there will be two teachers: Miss Euston and Mrs Whittaker. Also Miss Zolnierczyk will be working with year 6 every day.

In October we visited Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire as part of our topic on the Victorians. We found out a lot more about the lives of children in Victorian Britain and how the Industrial Revolution affected the lives of ordinary people.
